Summary
Conference report (in German) presenting the structure and uses of the Grüne Liste Prävention (GLP), the database of evidence-based prevention programmes for the psychosocial health of children and adolescents. The GLP is an initiative of the Lower Saxony Crime Prevention Council, online since 2011 and run with Hannover Medical School; it was built for programme selection in Communities That Care. Two trained raters assess each programme on its evaluations and assign one of three evidence grades: (1) theoretically well founded, (2) probable, (3) demonstrated; inclusion and rating criteria are published, and search functions by risk and protective factors allow targeted selection. As of March 2022 the database listed 98 evaluated programmes available nationwide. Practitioners, decision-makers and researchers at all levels use it beyond CTC; grade 1 serves as an entry point into evidence-based practice, and funders increasingly make programme funding conditional on registration. Its limits are the narrow topic range and missing evaluations. A new keyword system and an extension to nutrition, physical activity and structural prevention are planned.
