Summary

Conference contribution (in German) in a congress supplement of Das Gesundheitswesen presenting the CTC-EFF study, the quasi-experimental evaluation of Communities That Care in Germany funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), and its results at the level of the municipality. The published abstract is a single sentence and reports no figures; the substance lies in the talk itself. CTC-EFF compared municipalities introducing CTC with a priori matched comparison municipalities across several federal states, surveying key informants before and after implementation on community-level outcomes such as adoption of a science-based prevention approach, cross-sector collaboration and support for prevention. Detailed results from the same study are published elsewhere in this bibliography: the protocol and baseline-equivalence paper, the conference report on effects on local prevention structures and the peer-reviewed early-effects paper. This entry is therefore best read as a pointer to that body of work rather than as a source in its own right.
