Summary
Conference report (in German) characterising every programme in the Grüne Liste Prävention, the database of evaluated prevention programmes for children, adolescents and families run since 2011 by the Lower Saxony Crime Prevention Council with Hannover Medical School. To improve searching, the team derived 16 main and 33 sub-categories with 217 attribute values; one person coded each programme and a second checked. As of March 2022 the database held 98 programmes: 30 at evidence grade 1, 36 at grade 2 and 30 at grade 3. Most address addiction (n = 44) and violence including bullying (n = 62); social and life-skills programmes are characteristic (n = 57), whereas nutrition (n = 3) and physical activity (n = 2) are barely represented. The programmes are mostly behavioural (n = 91) and target the settings family (n = 40), childcare (n = 23) and school (n = 60). The new keywords improve findability, and the database can grow towards nutrition, physical activity and structural prevention.
