Short German-language article in Public Health Forum (2024, vol. 32, no. 4, pp. 386–389) presenting the Grüne Liste Prävention, the German evidence register that lets municipalities and practitioners choose evaluated prevention and health-promotion programmes according to local need. Programmes are admitted only if they meet criteria for evaluation quality, concept quality and implementation quality, and they are displayed in three evidence levels that reflect how strong the effectiveness evidence is. At the time of writing the register described 106 programmes for the psychosocial health of children and adolescents, and an extension to the topics of physical activity and nutrition was under way. The register is freely accessible online and forms part of framework strategies such as Communities That Care, where it supplies the menu from which CTC coalitions pick programmes matched to their prioritised risk and protective factors.
