Résumé

Second volume of the Istrian Communities That Care project series, published in the same year as the epidemiological study. The national library record describes a 239-page book on strategic considerations, resources and prevention programmes in Istria County, with chapters partly in Italian and a print run of 600 copies. Within the Croatian six-step adaptation of CTC (readiness and mobilisation, needs, resources, priorities, implementation, evaluation) it corresponds to the resource-assessment and priority-setting phase: an inventory of existing prevention programmes and services in the twelve participating localities, and the strategic reasoning that linked the 2004 survey results to the priorities and programme choices later described in the 2010 volume. The book is a project document for local practitioners and county decision-makers rather than a research article; it contains no effectiveness data. Its content could not be checked directly, as the volume is not online; the summary rests on the catalogue record, the citation in Serdar, Ferić and Belošević (2024) and the 2011 review of the third volume, which lists both 2007 books as the series' predecessors.
